Week 112
Day 648
Northern Ireland
55.2037° N, 6.5232° W
Our Euro Trip has commenced and we are quickly making our rounds to Scotland, Amsterdam, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, and Iceland before we head back to the states.
Europe may be small, but we are quickly confirming that we hardly have enough time with the few select locations we picked.
We’ve started our trip in Scotland, picking up Tom’s sister Mary who spent the last semester studying abroad at St. Andrew’s.
After an evening catching up in the dorm kitchen we spent the morning walking around the St. Andrews campus before driving up north to the Isle of Skye.

The highlight of Skye for us was Fairy Glen, a magical place with entries portholes into the fairy world.
2 days, 14 hours of driving, 500 miles, 1 flat tire later, and a night of drinking with some English gents; we arrived in Edinburgh with just enough time to do the Scotch Whiskey Experience, cook some dinner, and get a good nights sleep before heading to Amsterdam.

It may have been a short trip, but it was a beautiful one!
Obviously we missed a lot, what did we do right? Where should we go the next time we visit?
